[Multi]Armored Core 4

Who's here getting it? I'll be picking up the PS3 version this week and I just cannot wait. It looks so ownage.

And for all of you that don't know what it is. It's a long running PlayStation game since the late 90s. And now it's coming to the x360. Never would have thought to see that happening as it's been a Sony exclusive for nearly 10 years.

Anyways the game is about giant robots that you get to fully customize, from the arms, legs, bodies, radar systems, boosters, weapons, etc. Then basically it's a fast paced action game that normally has you go from mission to mission or from an arena fight to the next. It's very fun and a must have for mecha lovers like myself. =P

Also this installment is going to be even more fast paced and the graphics are amazing with a great level of physics.

Been waiting for this game for over 6 months now and it's going to be kick ass. O.O

I'd get it if I had a PS3 / Xbox 360. I was completely addicted to Armored Core 3. Absolutely love it!

The graphics between the PS3 and XBox 360 are so different.

The 360 has a much darker look to it but very nice colors. The PS3 has more brighter image but paler colors. PS3 just looks a little better to me.

I agree, the 360 has a much darker look to it which compensates the fact that the sharpness of the picture isn't as good as the PS3's whilst the PS3 has a sharp picture which it flaunts with a much lighter contrast.

hmm , i 'm buying a ps3 and i dont have a xbox360
but i do think the 360 has better image quality

yes the 360 is darker , but it is much more detailed
and i think that when u have a good hd tv with a high contrast ratio the 360 will look much better then the ps3

Same they can't just do both. =P

Have the PS3 have higher contrast and have the 360 with higher brightness. But that's down two the difference in GPUs.

Might or might not. Higher contrast will pump up the PS3s image. And the 360's is just to dark. Did you see the part when they went into the laser? It was so dark that you couldn't see anything while the PS3 was clear.

That's one thing I don't really like about the 360. The graphics are always darker then the PS3 but the PS3 just don't have as nice contrast out put. But that's how ATI and nVidia has always been.

really wierd how a sony -only game is comign to the 360. i'm glad tho since i've stopped being a Sony customer when the PS3 didn't attract me. I get to still paly armored core. yay!

ZOE is what AC should have been. Took them many games to finally get it into their heads. :icon6:
