The story takes place between Episode III and IV, with Darth Vader taking a secret apprentice that would one day take over his role and probably even replace Emperor Palpatine. This story will show an uncertain side of Darth Vader that was present during Episode III and in the end of Episode VI, his belief that his life is wasted serving dark side of the force. Redemption is the key aspect, but you will of course, be able to choose will you turn into a knight of light side, a Jedi or will join the ranks with the Sith.

Damn, it's a year away and I just cannot wait.

Saw it a while ago and was going to post but decided not to :P, I saw on the Lucas Arts website (In NoPeace's link too) that in this game they're using DMM Technology and Euphoria which to me, shocks me how far gaming has progressed, hopefully they'll continue to use these in future Star Wars titles like the Jedi Knight series.

DMM Technology
Euphoria

Please let it be on the PC! =O

That video was uber!

Lol.... You got a quad core CPU or a high end DX10 video card dedicated for just physics? =P

If not then it's going to be a let down. :icon6:

Damn, why a year away. I was watching a few vids about this weeks ago and the engine and tech put into this already is unbelievable.

Simple. You got to write the story for one. And the games going to be long. It spans over 20 years. From Ep3 to after Ep4. So that takes time.

Then you also have to do level design which takes time also. Not to mention voice recording, musical composing, and coding the damn thing. The average game takes 2 years to make. So be happy that it's comming out in about 14 months. =P

The engine is all set and now they just need to build and test it.

From the trailer it looks like it's going to be similar to the Jedi Knight series and I can't stand FPS/TPS on consoles so it's gonna be worth upgrading my PC for it :zippy:

Still waiting for some confirmation of KotoR 3 tbh, I'd imagine with the new technology and demand for "advanced" games it's gonna take years to make, let alone all the dialog work they'll do on it.

After seeing that movie on youtube, Kotor 2 plays like shit :cry::cry:

And no NoPeace I dont have that kind of power on my computer, but Im definitely willing to get it upgraded for this game IF I can (and if I got enough cash =P). I'm not planning on buying a console just for this game (though it might be cheaper, so who knows).

LOL!! The part where he lifts the stormtroopers up and smashes it into the plane nearly made me fall of my seat. That is awesome, this is what the future of gaming is going to be about.

I also love how anything (well from the video) can be picked up, and thrown at. It's also hilarious about the reactions from the stormtroopers :D.

Man that movie made something in my pants go straight up. I can't wait. :(

Normally I'd say you lost your mind if that happened with a game. But with this game, it's OK!

I heard there will be multiplayer functionality. Lets hope that uses the internets too =P If it does, I'm gonna pwn you Pieman :rudolph:

Heh, I'll slam you in a plane anytime. Bring it on. =p

Look so sweet, but what else can you expect from IDL. They are the number one Hollywood special effects company. It's about time LucasArts get their sister company to help them out.

i could easily jack off to that. i won't because its kind of wierd but still that is just freakin amazing. i don't know if i can wait for this long.
