Okay, i would like to know exactly how or what i do to make this happen... i know my external ip adress and i have a DNS hostname applied to it, however when i change the .conf files to that IP, it doesn't recognize any SQL databases. When i leave them at localhost, and change the realmd database to my external IP adress it doesn't work either. Please help, as i am eager to get this started. (Note: I am not using this for any illegal private server sharing, don't worry)

First you hace to make sure that your server can access to the Internet by opening ports. At the .conf files leave the ip 127.0.0.1 because it is the databases addres. With Navicat (or any other program)Connect to your mySQL server. There in one of the databases you have Realmlist Table(Here you can configure the realms)Change the realms ip to your WAN ip.

If someone can write it down better please do it!I am not good at explaining.

But there are many other threads that are explaining this better than me!
