Need help with tutorials for private server

Hello there, im kinda new with all this but ive tried hard to make a server work and i keep checking all guides.. the thing is that theyre all different using all different stuff but it probably all ends at the same thing.
Ive been trying to do what this guide says mostly http://forum.ragezone.com/showthread.php?t=461541
but i get stock at this part where it says Overwrite it with the Client Files,Change the IP of the client or something...
the client files? i got my client/server files on another guide because the links in this one didnt work http://forum.ragezone.com/showthread.php?t=385377
so i dont know what to do then after i installed the old kal, copy new files after installing another kal or uhh idk?
i tried to skip that part and copy the server files ( i tried to use the Pyramid V2 files) but that got me no where nothing worked...

en resume, i need someone that has some time to explain me how to work this out, i know im a bit newbie but i learn fast and really wanna work this out.

are u german i can help u better then, that with kal_db and auth isnt very hard
