Hello guys and gals, well let me put a long story short, i currently work at an awesome company and its only a long term temp contract. But I applied for a full time job there. Here is my problem, i suck at interviews, god knows how i originally got the job lol.

There is one question that I find very hard to answer - Why should we hire you and not someone else? Ive been going over it in my head but I cant think of anything and when this question pops up in an interview i have virtually said everything i can think of and always end up repeating myself and sounding like a rite dick

So any tips/points on how i can keep it cool and hopefully get the job :x

be honest mate, dont try to be special, be honest and straight shooting

say the reason why they should employ you is because you want the job, you dont just want it like anyone else because you have experience and now that u would really like to work there full time

if a temp said that to me id be more inclined to hire them especially if they were capable

thats made things a lot clearer thank you, also one of the trainers is very impressed on how fast i work (Tis a data entry position I'm doing at the moment), so I hope that helps as well. Just to make things a bit clearer I haven't been asked to come in for an interview yet but just trying to prepare myself for when the time comes. (if it comes -.-)

Do what Ex said, and let them know how you love working there, the thing bosses want are people who want to work for them, who enjoy doing it, because that brings a positive atmosphere which will get you to work harder, and others aswell, as they will pick up on the positive vibes aswell.

Tell them at the end of the day, when it's all over - you'll still be there for the company through thick and thin no matter what. Apart from that your dedication would have no limits.

Thats what they want. take my word on that.

Yah just try to stay away from generic answers like "I'm good with people" or those "Unlike most people I..." phrases.
I would go for, like everyone said, your own personal response. Find things that you think are uniquely you and include those, but stay relevant.

"Because I have a lot of experience in this work and I am very motivated. I have good skills in [aspect of your job] and I really like doing this job. I also have good social skills, I used to cheer people up or make them laugh in hard times..."

Something like that :), bosses like it when their employees have social skills (very important in jobs).

Oh, and repeating is not wrong, its a matter of not literally repeating, you need to say the same thing in different words. That way the message gets better accross and has more effect. And try to be relaxed :)

Good luck on you interview!
