Yeah you need to put a stroke around the leters or something. Other than that its ok and the avatar is small.

Try to avoid animation in signatures, they never end up much good because the gif file type just reduces the quality too much. Static images work just as good

Also change the font anti-aliasing to sharp or smooth.
