New Section - Television and Movies

There isn't a section for Television and Movies especially. I see lots of those topics in the Outer World.

I'm pretty sure the "Entertainment" Section is for posting things to entertain another user, not to post about what's entertaining on the television.

Exactly what I'm talking about.

It wouldn't be a good idea to go and post a thread about "Criminal Minds" in the Entertainment Section, because people expect entertainment in the threads, as in, videos, pictures, and stuff. Not discussions.

Agree with the suggestion, the entertainment section is not for movies/TV. Some people discuss about TV/Movies in "Entertainment" section, but that's not the main point of that section.

Not true. Entertainment is for entertaining purposes, and funny things isn't the only thing which are entertaining. Horror movie discussions should go in Entertainment section, because some folks find them entertaining. It's a fact that "entertainment" got a lot of different variations.

But think about it. There are prefixes (or tags) in the Entertainment section defined as, "Video", "Picture", and "Text", I believe. I don't see a place in the Entertainment section for DISCUSSIONS about TV series and movies. People go to the Entertainment section to be ENTERTAINED, not to find discussions about the entertainment.

But funny pictures and short funny videos seem to be the only thing being discussed, which might deter those who wish to use the section for TV and movies, because it may seem out of place.

well I think and entire new section just for that is a bit of a waste, there will rarely come entries and I think the entertainment section is just the appropriate place for it. Maybe a subsection will do if it is in need.

There are whole forums dedicated to it. Give it a little time, it could prove popular.

I do agree, a sub-section would suffice. But as it stands, no such exists, neither.

A sub-section would be the best route, it's then still classed as entertainment and provides a way to separate the "entertaining" things to the TV shows and films that people wish to discuss, I fully support that.

Paying attention to the description doesn't really help much. Pay attention to what's inside the forums, and what the users think the forum should have in it.

The Outerworld - For Topics such as News and community events.

Entertainment - Entertainment for another user. NOT DISCUSSIONS.

At least try to look at where things belong.

Entertainment. It's pointless making a whole new section for that, maybe a subforum but even that would be too much. Even if the description doesn't say, television shows/movies are just (very) long "videos".

Televisions and movies are made to entertain, which means entertainment fits in perfectly. It combines together.
