Newbie seeking informations L2J

HI, I'm new to Lineage 2 so any help will be appreciated.

I want to make a Lineage2 server.. so can anyone care to explain which source does what(means differences, pros & cons, easier to setup, programming code,stability, latest bug fix, active developement, all skills n npc workings.. etc etc..)?
1. L2J-free
2. L2Emu
3. Geodatas & Pathnodes

btw.. whats Hellbound, CT1.5 and CT2 ?? what is this?
