Look in your router, there should be a point: DMZ (demotalirized zone or something). If you don't have this, you can try it with Hamachi ( .

Remove all firewall applications and turn off Windows ICF (Internet Connection Firewall) on the server.
Configure your router to forward ports 3306, 3724, AND 8085 to your server (or try DMZ as Cronica suggested).

For LAN access:

1. Change your realmd database, realmlist, address field, to your LAN IP.
2. Change your realmlist.wtf to your LAN IP and test.

For Global (Internet) access:

1. Set up an account at one of the free DNS hosting services like DynDNS.
2. Set up a domain. Choose a Dynamic DNS service if your external IP changes frequently, Static DNS if it does not.

3. Setup your webserver to use port 80 (default port for webservers) and test it locally.
(If you have a router, forward it's port 80, web, or www, to your lan IP)
4. Test access to your webserver using your external IP and domain name.

5. Change your realmd database, realmlist, address field, to your domain name.
6. Change your realmlist.wtf to your domain name and test.

7. Secure your working server configuration with the security application of your choice.

DNS Hosting:

Go to and set up an account (free).

Depending on you needs:

- For dynamic (frequently changing WAN IP) DNS
- For static (non-frequently changing WAN IP) DNS

Click on the "How-To" link for directions in getting set up.

Use to check your current WAN IP.
