There is a lot of info there (nice by the way!) and i have only scanned through quickly and you are definitely missing the login bug fix which will cause you a lot of problems logging in even if the config is right. Just replace your files with the one youyou posted and a lot of those errors will go away.

Once that is done type "service cabal stop" to shut down the service and delete the logfiles from /var/log/cabal/. Now reboot centos and you will start with a clean set of logs that should look a lot cleaner. Give that a try and post any new errors if it still doesn't work.
