Need your help. Click the following link and tell me if you get a custom 404 page:

I've tried with all my UK friends and they get the custom page but when i tried with some evil b***h (aka neosparky) she got her default 404 page.

ok then computer geniouses explain why it randomly works on some peoples browsers but not on others >.<

I just changed it from a 404.shtml file to a .htaccess file and it works for me still......

seriously whats going on? it doesent make sense lol

You are all useing internet explorer and the latest version arnt you?

EDIT: Mental just suggested that ISP and / or proxy could effect it. I can see that UK IP's are getting the custom page and non UK ones arnt. Altho savage-fromHell's IP is showing up as a proxy (i think). Savage are you from the UK? If so then its actually a matter of the ISP and not the proxy o_0.

God this is 2 much thinking for quater to one in the morning >.<

I then pressed the "Back" button and got the same page savage put up as a pic.....

I got IE 6.0 and don't know if I got the automatic updates from Windows Update page...

I dont got netscape so dont know if it wil ldo it it there too...

Bleh just tought myself the AllowOveride directive and it still didnt change anything other than create an internal server error instead (because the directive wasent set to all).

Not got a clue why it worked when you pressed back . Really need a hardcore expert to explain this one. My guess is that some ISP's allow the aditions i edited in the .htaccess file and some ISP's dont.
