Now i need help to connect the server!! its or me or the other players =P

Now my last problem its that i cant connect to my server XD beacuse in WorldSvr_24_01.ini in IPAddress= if i type my CentOS lan ip i can connect to the channel and other computers cant, and when i type my external (ISP) ip in there players can connect to channel and i cant :S if someone know the solution tell me thanks.. or i just must buy new router? coz i dont want hamachi on my server..

What GameDB Clear Query does? becuse i see in darkxl topic that its have chatpresence in this command. what is it for i dont understand, and if i will do it it will Delete all my players??

I have check every copy of the gamedb i can find and none of them have it. I have been trying to find it too. If you notice darkxl's stored procedure has the truncate for that table commented out so it doesn't cause the stored procedure to fail, it means he is missing it too.

The init gamedb will clear the whole db, everything will be gone so don't use it unless you want everything wiped.

Ok. so how my friend have a server with Whisper and Bodylist working? maybe its becuse i need to use hamachi and this problem will be solved?

Have you checked his DB to see if he has the tables?

Hamachi is not needed to run this, nor any other private server, as long as your config is right. A lot of people get stuck with which IPs are visible from which end (lan/wan), have cheap routers that don't support proper NAPT or something similar which causes them problems and they go stright for Hamachi (or similar) to try and simplify it by creating one big LAN accross the WAN. It might work but it's just another process in the middle which can go wrong and if you need help only other Hamachi users can help you as your network is completely different from everybody else's once you add Hamachi. It's a bad workaround as all it does is give you a way of cheating instead of learning how it should really be done.

I cannot talk with this friend for the 2 weeks now, but i tell you: He has a server with router+HAMACHI and working whisper and buddy list. and on my server it doesnt! so plz what can i do? i know there is a way coz he have it works. but he does the chinese video guide + darkxl files, i used Mahi guide + darkxl files.

I found the same things which is why i started checking various different db dumps. There must be bad dumps out there which would explain why so many people have problems :/

I dont understand what i need to check in there... i have all this procedures and in the procedures there is CHATPRESENCE but i dont have this tables! can you tell me what inside and i add them manually? oh its so sh*t. i must fix it my players will quit! and my friend have it works :S

So how do you explain that my friend install all from the same server files (darkxl) and he does the chinese video and its the same by mahi, and he have a router but use hamachi and he can whisper ingame?!?! I must know how to fix it.. my players will quit, please!

And he doesnt change nothing! he just install the server in the same way that i am and he have it. i think its beacuse the hamachi :\

Check your worldsvr*.ini... what ip did u put in the chatnode section for your AddrForClient? put your wan or hamachi ip there.... tell me if it work... works for me though..

this solved the vanishing guild issue for me.

im left with the no alz drop problem even when my const files are default which is wierd because when i was using NAT, the drops were good, and when i switched to bridged, the problem came. which made me wonder if ip setting might also be affecting it.

I was try to do in add for client my wan ip, still the same if its my wan or my lan. problem not solved :S

I spotted the client address late last night and it got me as far as creating a guild but there was nobody else around i could test chat and buddy list with and i wanted to test that before posting.

@[hidden] - I had the same problem, all i ever got dropping were orbs +0 - +4.

Using those settings i get a nice combination. I get 2 items per drop and a selection from Alz upwards (i get a lot of cores too).
