I will now post updates to this here from now on.

This is a npcgen that aims for realism and fixing all npc's.

V2:

Removed Duplicates
Fixed Nation War NPCs
Fixed Main cities duplicates
Fixed Trivia event NPC's
Moved few event NPC's to not colide with others.
Moved few NPC's a little bit to look better.

Wow. Time to explore and see what's different!
I hate to bring this up, but are you considering the other maps? They at least won't take as long individually :)

So far I haven't really noticed anything out of order on other maps though. I have been considering making a different npcgen with my "view" on how it should be but I don't know if people would be interested in that.

Hmm. I wonder if someone can do me a favour and go into map 69 (on my iweb it's called the "Celestial Vale instance" the boss dungeon at the end of the new starter map). To me it looks way over-spawned. I've nerfed it myself, but wonder what others might consider normal numbers of npcs in there.

I've have noticed that instance maps i10 (Frostcovers Lands fb 49/51) and i11 (Valley of Disaster fb59) have no monsters, just pillars and friendly npcs.
I checked in the server files from kn1fe, dotta, abilenekan, loko, and wms.



I guess I can probably use the npcgen.data files from 151. Will try that today.

Yep, 1.5.1 files for those dungeons work perfectly, did the same here.

Here's a real contribution then: :8:
The Shade's Embrace Genesis forges are not spawned in the World map.
id 45931, 45932 and 45933. They have a trigger which I guess should be 0 and not 4800

Oh, and add Lunar i27 to the list of maps that don't spawn npcs. 151 maps to the rescue again.

Sorry for making this into the missing npcs lost homes thread.

Another slight update. Nightscream Island (i19) has been messed with a fair bit.
It now allows flying but more importantly it hides Lin Tsuchien. The fix is simple - just remove the trigger from him in npcgen.data
There are other npcs in the air etc, but I didn't bother with them.

It just goes to show that these and many maps are considerably different from the originals. (I am taking my maps from kn1fe from about a month ago - he might have updated since)
