My windows 7-64 bit sometimes doen't read the ODBC 64 bits.reg
or when it is read it [ I can see in "Data Souce -> System DSN..]
I went to "Data Source" and change the server name [ (local) ] to my SQl server [for example: NIR\SQLEXPRESS] and I type my Login ID and my Password..and after I checked and I got "TESTS COMPLETE SUCSSESFULY !"
I see the password is deleted [so the server files cannot connect to the ODBC]
How I fixed this ?
-Sorry about my bad english-

Why aren't you using Windows NT Logo authentication (the first choice)?

Try this, and don't forget to check the box "Connect to SQL" right below.

Becuse I don't know how to edit the Server files when I use the Windows NT Logo authentication ...

When you install SQL server, didnt you select mixed mode?

If yes, change it in the ODBC drivers.

I'll post some SS here.

With SQL autentication (first one) and without SQL autentication, in Mixed mode (Second one).

I did this, but after that Its "forgot"[ it doesn't show my the password] my password and then the Serverfiles cannot connect to the odbc
Edit:
I reinstall the SQL 2005 and now I use SQL autentication ,now its read the odbc.reg in the Data Source, but when I try to turn on my server I get the ODBC connection fail error again..
