ODBC Question

Hi, i want to run KalOnline in my root-server,

I installed MSSQL2000 and create the databases kal_auth and kal_db.
then i uploaded the Server files, and create the ODBC.

But when i now start the AuthSvrT or DBSvrT there comes a LogIn screen.

I typed in the 'sa' without pw and with correctly pw, and many other combinations, but it doesn't work.

Can someone help me with this problem?

chose SQL+Windows mode?

Yes, i made it under System DNS,

and i tryed out 3 different kinds:

1. Mixed Windows+SQL Mode with PW
2. Only Windows with PW
3. Only Windows without PW

... and on all situations where problems.

everytime there comes the LogIn Screen.

Are you using Windows Vista?
Iam using Windows Vista and when I open Auth, DB and Main wihout Administrator Rights (I hope it is the right word, maybe Germanism^^) this loginscreen pops up.

Ahh, didnt read all of your Post. You are using Root Server. Hmm. But maybe this helps other People .

if its importand, its a Windows Server 2003 System on the root-maschine

try to install like this. this is the right way to install sql 2000 on home pc. dont know if its the right way on a root server^^

Done it like that before -.-
I am not really a noob...

I would not post here, if this will be easy to fix.

I need anyone who have the same problem and got a way to fix this.
