Hello! I would like to announce that I have finished fully translating the game to English, 100%, every single line of text. To achieve this, I used Zenkai's translation as a base and worked on it. There were approximately 4000 lines of text still missing a translation.

I made use of AI tools in order to translate them. I gave them proper context about Dragon Ball and the game, so they should be pretty acceptable. Of course, there are still errors and things I probably didn't notice while translating (for example, some inconsistencies between a mob or item name mentioned in a quest and the actual name). I barely touched old translations, but most of them need some rework too.

To do this, I developed two simple tools that I'm also sharing:
  1. A tool to convert back and forth between .rdf and .xml
  2. A tool to find all lines of text that contain Chinese characters
Even if only the English translation is finished, I also uploaded Zenkai's version for Spanish and Portuguese. I also uploaded the untranslated Chinese (both HK and TW) files.

You can find the tools and the translations here:

You can follow the general progress of OpenDBO too!

I would be immensely grateful if you would provide a compiled version of the rdf xml converter

As I mentioned in the GitHub issue you opened, the script is written in Python. Since Python is not a compiled language, you only need to run the script.

Thank you for replying, unfortunately it gives me an error relating to decoding in utf 16-le by converting the quest file from rdf to xml. I have also tried your batch in .bat and parser.py in the same folder as you explained on discord, but I encounter the same result.

Maybe your file is encrypted.

Tryed with 2 different converter edf to rdf... these files are from dbo global
I can guarantee that the script works with all languages, so there must be something specific in those files that is causing the issue. I recommend using OpenDBO localization files, as they are the most complete anyway.

I don't doubt that it works, I wanted to understand what causes the error on my end. Would the OpenDBO files be compatible with DBO Global?

Could you help me with the translation in my language?I retrieved the files table_quest_text_data.xml and table_text_all_data.xml from OpenDBO and want to convert them to work on DBO Global.First I convert the xml to rdf with their parser in python, then I convert rdf to edf using path_edf_to_rdf.bat from DboTableEditorTW and finally I use PackEditor-TW (I unpack and then put the new files on data).Starting the game however gives me debug assertion filed error, if I do ignore I can start the game with the translations applied, but it still gives the error at startup, where am I going wrong?
