Originals vs Remakes

Been listening to a few classic bands lately (Aerosmith, Led, AC/DC, etc) and whilst Y-Tubing these, I stumbled across their modernized remakes.

Because I wasn't alive when all of these classic bands when they were in their prime, I wasn't exactly with the "hype" that they once had (not to say they still don't have that hype, it just isnt as popular/big as it used to be) and I grew up with just remakes of those.

Now the question is, what's better: The original or the remake?

Personally, I would prefer the original, anyday.
