I would like to make a server emulator for a game. I'm experienced in programming, but pretty novice to networking, but I've been doing stuff like packet sniffing and understand some of the protocol for the game. But what I'd like to know is if there's a good way to analyze the packets easier. I've been looking at man in the middle attacks and I think that's what I'd like to do (program a client and server and list everything happening) but this seems pretty efficient. Are there any tools or anything to make this process easier? exileSniffer on GitHub (
