So, after recently getting my new video card (Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT) I picked up the game Crysis, let the game choose the optimal settings for me (Very High, woot woot) and beat it. I've played a few matches on multiplayer, and I love the power struggle, but not overly fond of the instant action. So I got to thinking, "Hmm, since im most likely grabbing my own dedicated server, mabye i'll throw a post on the Ragezone forums and see if anybody would be interested in using it,". If I do get off my lazy ass and get it done, i'll probobly go into the router and make it so even people with cracked games can play on it also of course. But as I said earlier in the post, just thought i'd make a little post here if anyone became interested at any time. Other than that, its a damn fine game. Loved it. Cant wait for the next 2. Graphics are rediculously amazing, and I love customizing my guns :dribble:

I see all these questions around the net "Can i run my graphics card very high on Crysis?". What is so good about Crysis that makes it have perfect graphics? I have never seen the game.

I get a good 20-25 FPS rate on it, so im loving it.


As for jamie's response, you ask why its so great?
Try going to google.

and clicking on images.

All depends on resolution and other pc components.

Well I got my 19" widescreen LCD moniter... Mabye my Fraps was wrong or somethin, but I saw around 20-25 average on very high settings. Of course I dont have the best computer in the world, just a great video card. Only 2 gigs of ram on vista, got a nice quad core as well.

Dear god I hate what I call "Fist Whores"
Damn people who only get kills by throwing on the strength augment and just instant-kill punch you. Pisses me off. Anyways, I did manage to get the dedicated server up, just tryin to think of a way to host it for 24 hours XD
Considering my old computer cant run warcraft 3 nevermind INSTALL Crysis, and I cant keep THIS one on all day and night =/

Well regardless if anyone really uses it, whenever im on or have my computer on all, i'll turn on the dedicated server, it's name in the list will be www.Ragezone.com
So if anyone actually DOES use it (other than myself), have fun.

But if anyone ever wants to get a game goin, just post here or PM me or something and we'll see how many Ragezoners we can get ^^

Crysis is the best game. I was waiting for about a year for a life like combat game, unlike COD4 etc. And there, BAM, crysis comes out. Absolutly love the game.

Some servers on Multiplayer are very Professional, team work etc. Love it !
