So basically i'm wondering if it would be profitable to buy PC parts on a site such as Newegg.com,then selling them for profit.

Also if it would be profitable are there any good sites or places where i could sell the PCs?

Old *buddy* in college tried that, buying DVD RWs off eBuyer and selling em on eBay.
In the end, he was selling things he didn't have and when eBuyer sold out on the drives, he was still making sales on eBay; no stock, yet sales going through? Unhappy eBayers. Think the cockhead ended up in court, serves him right.

What are you planning on doing? Buying job lot componenets and building them up for selling purposes? Or are you buying ready to go desktops and selling them on ebay. And if you let me know what sort of capital you'd be putting in maybe I can link you to some sellers.

He means building entire PC's and selling em. Overall, yes it may work, but you do essentially need the money first before you make it. If you just pay for it out of your pocket, there is no guarantee you're gonna sell it.

Well theres not really that much of a risk for me. I've been looking into getting a new PC for a while so if i cant sell it I'll just keep it.

Do what I did customize nice PC's then sell on EBAY with pictures of it specs right now I'm working on a 6 grand rig soon I will attempt my dual motherboard setup and sell it for 15 grand. If your wanting to make a quick buck reformatt PC's I did that last year made 1 grand in 1 week watching TV :P
