i've seen this for a while now,
But it's still an really cool image.
If you look well into some of the people or passing cars they seem like ghost walking past.

Not quite so; the image is stretch a little wider and the quality is unprofitable to some. The next generation of these type of camera, hopefully, will fully define the picture realistically.

Images like this are typically houndreds of pictures combined into one. This one for instance, is made up of 196 pictures taken by a 6 megapixel camera. That's also why some things look ghosted.

This is made as art. There are some small errors, but it's still interesting to see how big the world, or just Harlem, actually is. You can zoom in further than the eye can see.
