port 55901 flooding

Hi,
long time no speak
i have a good vps, (no network firewall interface)
i have a reverse proxy (anti DDOS) which i forwarded port 44405 on it,
but port 55901 is still getting floods (that thing that make my server full and loads my traffic)
now,
do any of you have any firewall software or any software which limit TCP connection per IP ?
i mean
if an ip want's to connect and i set it to "3" he can create max 3 tcp connections.
(open 3 clients max\ flood me 3 connection max per ip)
it will be brilliant,

Hey ,brother no software will help you with ddos protection , i have tried everything and its just little protection that wont help alot ,
u can try Anti DDoS Guardian , maybe it can help abit.
but best thing is to have a protected host.

this is just a small attacks with some packet sending,
when connecting to the CS it get the mapserverinfo iport and forward the client to that port,
i guess i need to change this forward to my Reverseproxy?
can you tell me how can i change port 55901 ? i tried in the SCF_ServerList and the MapServerInfo and it just doesn't work on other ports...

Change other port for GS and port 55901 block on firewall
d'not use standart ports for server

GameServer/SCF_Connect.ini Here you can configure GS Port

however, it's enough to go in-game & type netstat in cmd, so if the attacker got atleast 5 IQ, he will find out your port in seconds.

DDOS Protection ? each opened port should be protected, that's why ddos protected dedis r best,
and for cheapeast & high protected solution only OVH (So You Start (SYS))

To stop attack you have mentioned, you need some FW, from easy solutions,
i remember MuGuard firewall was working fine for gs flood attacks.

muguard doesn't support win2012 \:
i've changed the port and made a forward through the Reverse proxy.
hope it will stop the floods, is there other guard i can use ?

ATM it seems like forwarding the GS through the reverse proxy worked. for 4 hours i have 0 attacks,
but i need more time to check this configuration...
if some1 want to know hot to protect GS with RP pm me.

Ofcourse i call this DDoS, why ? because the attacker might hits you with small attacks but when he realises that you added protection and attacks with botnet , what you going to do?

they can't, this is why im using Reverseproxy service.... but i have to say... 24 hours clean without any attack.... that's great !

big attack you need pro service.

So what OS you have?
If you have windows 2003 OS i will give you a great tip that might help you protecting from getting Flooded.

if not then i cannot help you , you will need to get some protection mate.

guy's i'm sayin that i don't get anymore attacks....because of getting all ports blocked except requests from RP. that's solving the issue
the problem now is that all players connect from the same ip :S so i cant block IP

Just get a good DoS/DDoS Protection provider and the problem will be solved...
