problem linking site

Ok heres the deal, I downloaded a site template and used it and it works,

To view the content, you need to sign in or register

but now i found a different template that i like and plan to use it... so i type in localhost and up it goes... but when i type my lan ip it goes back to my other template... and i already deleted the previous template from my httdocs. What do i do? thanks.
