now I started installing CentOS in VMware
but now is the big bad problem
all guides show IP's (192....) I have only 127.0.0.1 (so LOOPBACK & localhost) and my WAN IP 84.22.18.***
I don't have the IP showed in the guides ?
How to setup the networking on CentOS ?
I am new in that system so need some help from pro'es :)

Please tell me the correct IP's for Pic's by their numbers :S

PS: IP's that I have are localhost & 84.22.18.***

Thank you very much!

VMware make a virtual network adapter, this work in the virtual machine(not your real pc) and work in your system and NO
HAVE acces to the 127.0.0.1 this is the ip for you local system(loopback can't acces from outside).
centos have 127.0.0.1 and windows have 127.0.0.1
you need a interface 192.168.1.x or 10.0.0.x. to work. i not known how can you work with this configuration of system.
test in nat or look if you can add a local ip in the adapter what is conected to wan.

your wan conecction is for usb?.
ethernet 2 is VMware or real adapter?.
you can add 2 or more ips to an adapter in windows.
test and good look
bad enlish, bad english Y_Y sorry for my english

hmm probably I don't work with Linux ... I've already done a few type of servers (World Of WarCraft, Mu Online, Gunz The Duel, Lineage) but there is a little bit easy then on Cabal and now when ppl from bulgaria (my country) don't have good servers to play ... (talking about Cabal) the only good one was the official I must do this !

in my opinion a person who doesn`t know how to asign a set of tcp-ip/v4 ip`s doesn`t diserve to host a server!

Thank you for showing opinion maybe all mods are trying to angry ppl on ragezone forums ?
Before one Gunz Mod was not helping the people ?! OMG
Why is that title Moderator ?! Don't you have to help to the others ?!

For now there was only one Mod (in muonline section) that was helping to everyone ... all others ... sorry but I won't tell a bad words ...

bwt: I am done with this problem I didn't started the vm nat 8 local connection ...
PS: I have another problem but I won't share it for this kind of respect probably will PM someone who is ready to help the people ... (Lol why all the mods are not like the one mu online section ...) :S:S

ohh man where in my posts you saw that I think I am special ?! I follow the guides .. but some of them are very very special about wireless connections ... why do you think I am asking here ?! because all guides are done or in wireless or in some local connections .. and what about normal 'CABBLED' people ?? they are asking ... and your task is to help is this why you are mod ?!

The IP address you need to use is the machines IP. Your user name and password are what you use to sign into the OS machine. The only to IPs you need to use on the machine are the LAN connection subnet and gateway. Hope this helps. Select the SCP from the pull down also.
