Problem with the mcmadness repack

well dont know if anyone else had this problem but i downloade it twice and this is the error i got when extracting the files....

! C:\Documents and Settings\Craig\My Documents\My Completed Downloads\madness\McMadness Repack\McMadness Repack Server.rar: CRC failed in SunrisePT\char\tmABCD\M1-motion2.smb. The file is corrupt

is this a needed file cause there hasnt been any more errors yet still extracting though and if i do need it can someone point me in the right direction of getting the file...

That just means that your download was corrupted at some point and you'll need to redownload, but the file thats corrupted is just some animation file, you could get it out of any client.

k thanks sik is there any more guides to setting up the server do you know cause i didnt get RenHunts and i could use some help setting it up

You could try Operz guide that comes with the jPT server files, its pretty well written.

Don't worry the same file was corrupt in mine ^_^ just throw another file in there from some other patch or something to replace it =p

thanks will do doesnt matter what version though does it???

and i found the guide he was talking about it is in the resource thread download the jpt client that is linked in there it has the guide in there (it also says jpt server + guide + registration )

Nah, all guides will setup the same thing, if your using the McMadness repack use a client in the 1.8X.X series.
