processor does not support XSAVE

To run PW Server on a VMware Workstation application, does it require a specific processor? I tried running pw server on a Dell Poweredge T610 with 2 X5660 processors and 196 GB memory but it failed even though on a regular PC it ran fine. Does any senior here have experience like that and is there a solution? because I need to run pw server on a server computer with large memory to run all the maps. Thank You

After changing the VMware workstation version to version 17.0.0 everything can run smoothly, now I just need to learn how to make the server online, so that clients can connect from anywhere, do the seniors here have a tutorial? I tried searching on YouTube only to find a tutorial for a LAN server. If anyone has a link on how to make the Perfect World server online, please help. Thank You

put vmware in bridged networking mode so that it has its own ip on your home network, then open/foward the ports on ur home router config for your host computer's IP + the VMWARE's IP for the following ports: 80, 8080, 29000.

In BIOS if your processor's virtualization is turned off for some reason, whatever the virtualization is called for your brand in your particular MOBO's bios, then this can happen with Hyper-V issues. Simply google if your CPU supports virtualization.

When installing a linux distro you must make sure you download and use the image which is correct to your CPU architecture

but yeah the CPU Virtualization being off can also cause some vm software to have problems so just wanted to be sure. I'm glad you guys figured it out.
