i recentyl decided i wanted to make my own PS to test on
however im sort of a noob in making private servers ( "noob" is quite an understatement)

i used Syron Noor repack and my auth, DB and mainserver r working fine now
however when i try the loader, it tells me

"Cannot find import DLL may be missing, corrupt or wrong version
File "Protect_.dll", function "RegOpenKeyA" (error 0)"

i have ....well basicly no idea whut that means^^
i googled protect.dll, advapi32.dll, and regopenkeya
but havnt found a satisfying answer so far

if someone could pinch out the problem and also explain the how or why
would be great ^^

The protect.dll you are currently using isnt the same version as the kocp.

and how should i fix it?

is it possible to work without KOCP,
i don't really need a hackshield

If you'd like to work without a hackshield, then follow bjorns guide "how to make your own engine" and skip vista fix + kosp install steps. after that get yourself a clean mainsvr.exe
