[q] Issues playing on 2.4.3 servers

When i play a server, any server, the game will dc me a few minutes after i login, i then cant login because it says user name or pass incorrect, i think this is because i might be setting the client to connect to the real WoW realmlist or something.

I have set my realmlist to read only.

I am running vista 32bit

Happens on all servers

Only way to fix is run the blizzard 'repair' utility, then it lets me play for a few more minutes till it all happens again.

vista has nothing to do with it if your trying to connect to a private server remove the blizzard realm list eg
set realmlist (name of server)

@inzann - this is the reason your title says "newbie" don't spam.

Repair utility will set your realmlist to the default blizzard realmlist and patchlist. You need to find a server you want to play and set it to what they tell you. All private servers are in this format :

set realmlist wowservername.somedomain.com

(generally like that)
