Question about a CPU

I want buy all new
XFX GF9800GX2 600M Grafikcard PCIe 1024MB
2x Corsair XMS3 2GB DDR3 RAM PC3-10667 1333MHz 2x1024 MB Kit CL7
and this is what i have
Enermax Power Supply Galaxy 850W ATX PC-Supply

Because DDR2 is overrated atm.
The 9800GX2 is overpriced, an HD4870 would be better.
Saves you about 100 bucks and you'll get the same/better performance.
As for the mobo you'd best get a P45 or X48.
These chipsets support all the new quadcores and crossfire, so you can always throw in another 4870 gfx card when it's needed.
4GB DDR2 1066 will be perfect with this.

unless ur really into overclocking, don't bother. get a Q9450 instead

Asus Rampage Extreme (Intel X48) 9x S-ATA, 2x LAN, 12x USB
as above, a GA-X48-DS4 should do fine

4096MB Corsair TWIN3X DDR3-1600 CL9 (2x 2048MB)
DDR3 is overrated and overpriced atm. stick with DDR2.

NVidia GeForce GTX 280 Extreme, 1024MB PCIe, DVI / TV-Out
far too overpriced. besides, with an intel chipset, u can't SLI so might as well get a HD4870, or two.

1000GB Samsung / WD / Seagate, 7200U/Min 32MB S-ATA2
not the best $/GB. if u really need the storage space, get 2x640GB drives
DVD-RW Samsung SH-S223Q, 22x DVD
