Question for all of you about hamachi

What u think is better hamachi or non-hamachi server?

Non-hamachi because people wont need to download, install and "configure" hamachi to join your server.
It attracts more people.

I have to agree with BBim there, definitely a lot better without Hamachi if you want to have a higher amount of players join. The only real reason to use Hamachi in my opinion, is if you want to be able to have more control over who creates an account on your server or how many accounts a person creates. I mean you CAN control those things as well without Hamachi, it just seems to be easier and simpler to control them with Hamachi from my initial experience. And Hamachi also is like a built in chat-room also, but there is limits on that (as in 15 people per room) and because of this it doesn't work out very well AS a chat-room because the people that may want to talk, may be in different rooms and that can become a hassle.

So yeh, definetly it's better off with no Hamachi. Plus, you can integrate several chat applications that I've seen into your webpage too, so everyone can communicate there.

I am using now a non-hamachi homehosted server&looking for a hoster cause my internet connection isnt so fast.

That's not true. If many people are in your hamachi network, then your server will probably lag more. So better use a non-hamachi server.
