Question | Need "2" Computers to run server?

I see that you need mssql 2000 , which run only on windows , but you need centos too , which is unix based operating system .

So ? need both windows and linux to run the server files ?

No, you use VMWare Workstation to install/run CentOS. So you have Linux running "inside" windows basically.

No. the server files working on linux and not windows, so what you can do its install virtual computer with CentOS. you dont must have 2 computers!

database is microsoft sql 2000 (MSSQL 2000) , well , that's run only on windows ,
so i need windows for database and linux for server files , don't ?
