Ok Say if another person on another Compuer wants to register fo my game And when they Type IN

"http://localhost"

will they be able to register to my Web page? or it will say cannot display this Page. If it says that what do i do? What Code do i Put in on a Webpage. I have a Modem not a Router And im using XXamp

Localhost is your local host only. If someone else on a different computer goes to localhost it will display their local host not yours. You need to forward your ports. Then give your external ip address to the people who want to play on your server. (Note: If using a firewall you must allow access to those ports)

Localhost = 127.0.0.1 => cannot be seen my other PC in the same network as well as from other external connection.
Within network uses a format like 192.xxx.xxx.xxx or 10.xxx.xxx.xxx
For the external connection, the IP varies due to the provider.

A wireless router is like a normal router except it has a slower data transfer speed. I have ran a rose server over my wireless connection and it works fine.
