I remember a post on either this forum or rocks house explaining how to change the xy's of going from map to map. Anyone have any info on this?
Was hoping to spice up a 3.8 I'm running for some friends and trying to add a transfer point to one of the event maps from a standard working map.

Also does anyone know if it's possible to move any of the maps from 4.4 over.
If so, some details would greatly be appreciated as to how to get them over manually or if needs be how to import them into SQL to get the same thing done.

I've tried to get a 4.4 running but since this forum topic is so old it appears all the files you can get for 4.x is not producing very good luck. I figure I could tweak a 3.8 with some 4.4 maps or at least setup a transfer point to the event maps for something different.

And does anyone have a working skill or item editor that is somewhat english oriented or at least easy enough to figure out?

Rapap a ways back had used one to get the vends back to lvl 300 and some other items set to lvl 0. Worked great but unfortunately, once that is done your stuck.

As in: the server files I had, needed the assasin bug patch fix. Well using that message.ctf overwrites the one Rapap had handed out so it's one or the other. My fix was to remove all of the assassins from the mop files and of course keep the modified vend one.

So it'd be nice to understand and gain some kind of control over this.

Anyone still frequenting this forum that can lend a hand is of course greatly appreciated?

Tx so much!

Editing Way Points

Example for Dokdo

In the Dokdo event file (Event00087.rse) it looks like this

Code:
;[Event ID] [Event

Thank you chang for the response.
Very helpful info, with it I may be able to figure something out.

Thanx also for the scar tip... I've emailed him hopefully he'll respond.

You wouldn't happen to foresee a time where in you might, when not being lazy, perhaps find it in your heart to translate these editors and pass them along?

I know its alot to ask and it sounds like a lot of work, so I won't feel bad if you dont' feel like doing it. It seems these are the only two tools I could never come across. I've asked scar to see if he has something he can pass along but he's probably just as busy as you are... I'm hoping tho!

Tx again good to see some veterans of RM still coming to these forums now and then.

Hi, I'm GMKakashi from Undying Dream. I just wanted to post that the site has been changed its now (the site is still under construction, but the most of it works.) the previous site was without warning shut down by our provider. Also, I didnt fully read the map warps, which I will after this post But this is something I'd like to get help on. Since we too are trying to accomplish this. While we know how to Edit warps, we're trying to create them. Example Click a Statue or NPC and it takes you to a set map. So any info on how to go about doing so would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I know that there is a way to take a statue and use it as a base for a new warp point but I can't seem to figure out all the details on how it works yet. I know I've seen it done back when the Dark Dream server came around, but I never got the info on how to do it. If I figure out how it's done I'll post up the info. If anyone knows what I'm talking about and doesn't mind helping to pointing us in the right direction, that would be much appreciated.

I'm sure it's simple, it's just a matter of tinkering with it until it starts to work.
