im sorry if this is in the wrong section(maybe it not) but i dunno where to post it,
i just have a few questions when ur hosting a WoW server do u have to pay any fees? or is ur internet payment amount going to incress??i just want to know if u host a server do u have to pay for anything?cuz i seen alot of server asking for donation blah blah blah and they say they need it for payment blah blah blah,so is hsoting a wow server gonna cost any money?
and second the guide how to make a server on the WoW fourm does it support window vista? becuase it required sql server and i heard it is not competable with vista.(and if it is not) is there any guide on how to host WoW server with vista(if there one) thank you for reading,and hopefully answering the question.

well if you want to host your server through a company you will need a way to pay for it thus why you will see alot of servers asking for donations but if your hosting on your own internet connection then all you have to pay for is the internet if you have upload/download limits and they get exceeded by your server then you will either encounter a fee or your internet will be slowed or another penalty detailed by your ISP

okay one more thing remain i heard that SQL server ist competible with vista and i have vista so is it true?so sincei got vista i cant host?(and is tehre any guide how to make a server for vista?)_

uhm, mySQL servers are completely compatible with vista i just reverted my pc back to XP from vista(i think i can even still boot into vista) and i had a few wow servers on that so you just set it up like you would with XP install MySQL then use SQLyog or Navicat to import etc only thing thats really different is you need a few more dll files to actually run Ascent.exe thats all i noticed anyway
