Reading Festival

Omg yeah, I wanna goto the reading festival, I wanna read Harry Potter =-P. Oh wait, you meant the other Reading :'(.

2ndly yeah your gf got 2 tickets.... 1 for her, 1 for me =-P.

I go to uni in Reading well by go I mean I do a course there like 6 days a year :P

This should be in the music lounge since the Reading Festival is the biggest Rock festival in Europe. I wish I could afford to go to England and see it. But, Iron Maiden isn't even going to be there this year so there's no point even saving to go. Only thing worth seeing is NIN and Smashing Pumpkins. But, I've seen the former and will be seeing the latter when they start their US Tour.

Imo, even the Reading Fest has gone under to the emo/screamo curtain. It saddens me that a festival known for the legendary Hard Rock/Metal bands has completely left out ANY metal bands this year.

^.^ yeah emo is annoying we like to abuse them from our trampoline full on rocker/metal punks ^.^ (my current top band would have to be dragon force ^^) download is deffinatly the place for Rock/metal these days, but i live 17 miutes from read ^^ so thats the only festival for me.

+ like 30 of my mates always come along so its more of a 5 day party.
( 5days becuase its thrusday to monday for me :) )

Muhahaha if anyone is going make sure you look out for a 12-16 foot trampoline becuase ill be the one falling off it!

Went to Leeds one last year, it was good so ill probally be going to Reading this year if i have any cash left after Download and time off work ^_^

I'll be at Leeds festival this year. Was there last year and on the first day I somehow met a Mir player (who i'd actually previously met before that but didn't recognise). Such a good festival though, lineup doesn't look particularly good this year really, although I really want to see RHCP. I just go for the craic now, get pissed and stoned in a field with ur mates in the summer, doesn't get much better than that.

At first glance, I thought it was a Book Club Meeting.

Sad that I don't live in UK, Nothing fun ever happens in Boston.
