I had this issue a while back, and managed to fix it, although I was an idiot and didn't post my fix.

I need to have two IP addresses that people can use to connect to my server: One for external users (my hamachi address), and one for internal users (people on my LAN). Before, I believe I made a duplicate server entry in the realm list that pointed back towards the original server. That doesn't seem to be working however.

For the record, no, I can't DynDNS, and no, I won't have my LAN users use Hamachi unless it's the only way. That's TERRIBLE networking, and only creates unnecessary lag.

Anybody know the syntax to put two IP addresses into the IP address column?

So NOBODY knows how to do this?

Again, I want two IP addresses pointing to ONE server.

I've done it in the past, I just can't remember how. Anyone help me out?

First, what do you mean by 2 ipadresses?
because your ISP gives you only one external Route PRs IP..
You can indeed use a DNS to connect to your ip, that way you have multiple IP's 'incoming'...
if you want more help specify your question please!

I thought what I had stated was specific enough, but here's a further breakdown.

I have TWO potential IP addresses for my server, a LAN address (internal), and a VPN address (through hamachi). The LAN address is for users on the same network as me (when I'm having a LAN, for instance), and the VPN address is for users outside of my network.

I would like it that BOTH of those addresses can point to the server at the same time (in the realmlist table in realmd), but right now I have to switch them out depending on who is using the server, as I can't make a duplicate line in the SQL, nor can I define two IP addresses in the IP Address field of the SQL.

Any further questions on what I'm trying to achieve?
