[RELEASE] Unpacked version of the newest KGunz update (update9.mrs)

Well, here it is. It's unpacked and ready to be used. Has a few minor clothes that are already available in the NAGunz updates, and the voice update (all the NPCs make sounds, characters talk, and there are a few new songs, and there are announcers). Just came out yesterday on KGunz.

The problem is, the things like the NPCs making noises and stuff are called from XMLs that the December 2005 client doesn't have, so we can't implement them as-is. It's gonna take some tweaking, I hope to have them all working this weekend.

I looked trough the files, isn't it possible to use there system files to get it working?

Edit: I just put everything in, this made my server korean and sounds still didn't work lol.

That wouldn't work though. A lot of it's called by AnimationEvent.xml, which the December '05 client doesn't even use. I'm not sure where the others are being called from, I didn't look at it much,

Yeah, I've putting every file from update9 in, I could login and play perfectly, no new sounds tough.

They took them off in Kgunz now. lol
 
Well, if anyone gets this to work, be nice and post how?

There is animationevent.xml in brgunz files (newest)

You'd have to make the client load the files in order for it to play sound, and you'd need the new sound handling code.

There's a pic of some of the new clothes and weapons in this release. They're in the NAGunz update1.mrs too, but I don't think that many people saw them.
 
The map is one my friend and I made ourselves.

As for the sounds, I haven't gotten a chance to look at it yet, though I doubt I'll be able to make them work with pservers.

Hmm good job on the map then.

The July server already comes with animationevent.xml, wont it work with this one?
