Well, im just starting out in PHP, and i cant think of many projects to work on that will allow me to learn. I know how to do register scripts, rankings, etc, i just cant think of anything else to do. Can anyone think of somethin that might help me learn a little?

try login scripts, work on sessions, then go further on to like opening txt files and editing them, using different classes to create pdfs, xls, xml, etc. =]

A guess-the-number game, a small forum / chatbox / guestbook, a CMS / full browser game.

Eventually you can make other scripts...parsers, algorithms, converters...
