Those who are such a big fan of it like I am will hole heatedly agree that it's the best put together story ever made. And it's just as fun to watch the movies as it is to play the games.

The hole ideals of the T-Virus and the G-Virus are just genius. Even though I think Umbrella are total bastards for even creating such a thing which would have only ended in the worst way possible anyway. As the creator of the G-Virus William Berkin's idea was to create the Ultimate Bio Weapon.

Anyways I'll get the ball rolling with talking about the film Resident Evil 3. In the movie you see Umbrella testing a serum on a chained up Zombie which actually gave it temporary human reasoning and control. Personally I couldn't believe it when I saw this, because immediately it made me think...

"You gotta be kidding, the whole idea of this from the beginning was so Umbrella can control the world using infected T-Virus victims"

Anyways I believe I've said enough in this opening post. So Discuss! ^_^.

I must say it is one of the better thought out game plots and it's still keeping my interested despite having huge gaps between the games. IMO, it's one of the best franchises available. Tbh the movies were a dissapointment to the game series and shouldn't be held in the same light.

Also Wesker is probably the best villain created and I don't need to justify this.

Personally though my favorite villain has to be William Berkin because the G-Virus was just purely amazing. he guy refused to die because the G-Virus had the ability to constantly keep regenerating dead cells. And not only that, each time he made a kill he would form in to a stronger mutation. The guy was a machine in his own right, and a unstoppable one at that.

If you played and completed Resident Evil 2 then you'd know that William Berkin would still be around if he didn't get completely disintegrated by the explosion of that Train and the explosion of Raccoon City.

What do you think about the actual story plot film wise though ? Relating to my opening post.

Ah yes in your talking about in the 3rd movie, during the scene where she's sleeping and she starts picking up rocks + her Motor Bike with her mind right ?

That's because Alice's DNA bonded with the T-Virus, hense why in the previous movies before the 3rd one she's able to run up walls and basically do anything that the average human can't.

Umbrella was secretly using Alice as part of there project to build the Ultimate bio weapon, but in her case she was "Super Human". The deal with being able to use those Telepathic powers we're the result in the T-Virus basically mutating and becoming stronger. But also it has a big part to do with the extra tests Umbrella did on Alice that you see at the beginning of Resident Evil 2.

Resident Evil 5 is Racist!

The only thing I'm gonna say about this (since I don't want to even really speak about this) is Resident Evil 5 ain't racist. The makers of the film basically wanted a change in scenery so the film is meant to be based in Africa I believe. And what type of people live in Africa ? Africans of course....

Aye Birkin was a very valuable antagonist to the series as without him, Wesker wouldn't be where he is today. However you have to hand it to Wesker with his genius plot and playing everyone off against eachother in order to obtain the virus/plaga samples. They're both definitely worthy of a mention as great villains though.

As for the plot in the movies, it's an interesting one I'll give you that, I'm not entirely sure how they're going to continue it (especially with Alice regaining her 'psychic powers') and how the other normal remaining humans/T-Virus zombies are going to match up to her. I imagine that they're going to start introducing the other game viruses and bosses/characters such as the G-Virus etc. I'd personally love to see Lisa Trevor in the film as she is, like Birkin, unstoppable. A showdown between Alice & her would be quite interesting to see :tongue:

I still get the feeling that there is some kind of organisation (Possibly Wesker & other important figureheads) behind Umbrella, since all they are is a research facility with a lot of money, there's no motive for them to do all of this unless someone else is pulling the strings, which falls back to Albert & his scheme.

Edit: I do agree that Birkin is the most bitching boss though, gave me quite a fright in the train :tongue:

Yeah, I know. I could deal with Alice becoming stronger because of the T-virus, actually makes sense when you think about it, but I just find it a shame that a movie with a pretty solid scientific base suddenly introduces something as dodgy as telepathic powers.

I really wish I knew more about Wesker :/ Because I haven't heard much about him since I watched my Brother play the Resident Evil 4 game as I don't have it. I know there's a really interested story behind him though because of the confrontation he had with Leon Kennedy.

But because Berkin wouldn't hand a sample over as it's his work, Umbrella took it apon them selfs to use force to get the sample they wanted.

And ah Wesker again >< hopefully things will be made more clear about him once you explain to me his background behind the story. Are you saying he's one of these main figure heads behind Umbrella ?

I understand what your saying, it does add abit of confusion to the story. But if you think about it this way. Even though the T-Virus isn't as strong as the G-Virus, the T-Virus still has the ability to regenerate dead cells and also repair damaged body tissue at a highly excelled rate. So having said that you think right...all that is classed as "Physical" attributes to the T-Virus.

So with the T-Virus bonding with her DNA becoming more part of her being, to me it does make sense how Alice would also beable to use the T-Virus in a Mental way as well. Although if I remember rightly, I think she isn't even aware that she can yet 0.o.

The Wesker Report should explain a lot about it :tongue:, basically he is the figurehead behind Umbrellas manipulation and Resident Evil 1's 'Mansion Incident' was an experiment that he had planned. Though the reason he started all the virus development and interest was due to Birkin getting him involved. There's way too much about him to explain in a single post.

I just also finished watching those reports, omg! I can't believe how much of a bastard Wesker is! but he's a genius haha lol. I had no idea he's been behind most of whats happened. And what he hasn't been behind he knows everything of anyway.

When it comes to the number in games, I get confused sometimes lol. Because "Code Veronica" is the one after Resident Evil 2 right ? I find it strange how Resident Evil - Nemesis is known as the 3rd one then, when it's actually the 4th >< lol.

Oh and I just remembered something! Can you remember in the Resident Evil 4 the film, when Alice found that book that mentioned Alaska ? It made it out to be some sort of "Promised Land" where Zombies or anything of the sort doesn't exist, so I really think that's gonna play a big part in the next movie.
