some of you may know who he is, but for some who dont ill explain.

last year, when he was 14, he was diagnosed with a very rare cancer called Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumour (DSRCT), which predominantly affects male teenagers.

DSRCT is so rare, that cancer research has done very little research into the matter.

He later died at 15, and we all miss him very much, his mum Amanda is doing the best she can to raise money for the charity he founded to help research this cancer.

Amanda sent in a video to channel five news' 'your news' which was shown on TV.
here is a link: http://news.five.tv/news.php?news=939

Rob was an amazing person. Helping his mum with everything, friends with everyone, always making people laugh.

400+ people turned up to his funeral, including the whole of his school.

here is his website, all about him, the cancer, and what happened during those months in hospital.

Its a year tomorrow that he has been dead, and my heart goes out to his family, especially his mum and younger brother, who thought the world of him.

You used a cam recorder to record from your laptop screen . . .

I imagine because the skydiving team will give a DVD if requested, but it will of course come in a DVD format, which Windows Media Player can play, but you can't upload onto youtube, so she used a camera to record it so it would save as a file such as MPEG4 or AVI..

Although I must say, converting it would have done the trick :P

i didnt do it, and its not my vid... lol..
i did also say sorry for the crap quality.

Not about the quality its about the method used to record that lol.
Anyways RIP that guy.

Not to be an ass, but if the disease is THAT rare, I don't see why the money shouldn't be donated to a more common cancer. But I understand this is their 'closure'.

Anyway, I've been trying to find the name of the kid who was on channel 4 and a musical prodigy who had a life-threatning disease, he was on GMTV. Anyone know? The documentary showed him at a school of arts composing and conducting a symphony.
