rose not updating

hey, just attempting to try one of these rose servers, iv done everything in this guide..

and my server starts ok, but when i try to update the evo client (one provided in that thread) it doesnt download anythin n asks me to play straight away.

When i run rose launcher it says...

GameGuard Execution Error: 360
Fail to complete gameguard updating
Check virus first, or adjust settings of pc managament if any.

iv taken my windows firewall down and tried it, but nothing.

any suggests to how i fix this, and why its doing it?

Make sure you run the gameguard patch found in the guide in the sticky section before running the launcher. If it still gives you trouble, this means the gameguard program can't connect to update. You will need to find out why it is not connecting. It could be a number of things. Sorry I can't be more helpful. That's all I know about the gameguard patcher

before i even add anything else like the gameguard fix it doesnt let me update or go on the official server.

im using vista and the gameguard folder is hidden in a compatibility folder (its what vista does for some reason). cld that be why?

edit: jus reinstalled the client and its updating fine now.
