In this topic i'm gonna release my GUI Editor.
This will replace Daisy and should work for everyone.

The Ruby - GUI Editor has the following functions:
  • Create / Edit / Remove Applets
  • Create / Edit / Remove Controls
  • PropertyGrid for easy editing settings
  • ResData.inc / .txt.txt support
  • Automatic ResData version detection

The Editor is bound to RageZone. So you have to login with your forum account.
The login is needed to send bug reports or suggestions from the tool.
None of your data is stored on the computer and is only active as long as the tool is active.

Sedrika - Ruby - GUI Editor - RaGEZONE Forums

After successful logon to your account, the main program is started, which will read the ResData.inc/.txt.txt.
After everything has been read and processed, you should see Ready in the Status Bar. After that everything is ready to work.

Antwort: Put the editor into your Resource folder.

Frage: After login, the tool crashes on me, why?
Antwort: - The Theme folder must contain a folder called English if not, this may be one reason.
- If the error is given a "zero value for Image", the tiles in the English folder can not be found. Copy to all the images from the default folder in the English folder.
- All files have to be extracted.

Let me change this sentence:
The login is needed to send bug reports or suggestions from the tool.

Should be:
The login is needed to send your RageZone info to this guy.

Why being mean?

Worf.

I'm not going to try this until someone else tried it. Thanks anyways :)
I dont care if you dont trust me. This tool is not packed and you can search for everything with a reflector by yourself.

Do not use this application as it wants you to use your ragezone username and password.
He could send the login information to himself and hack your accounts.

If you want people to use your application make one without a login that wants excisting info from a user.

No you are stupid to think you can just randomly ask people to log in with an excisting account.
I'm not downloading your crap I just warn people. If it is easy to read the source code why not release it then?
If you want people to use it remove the ragezone login crap. It looks like scamming

So to conclude Sedrika, we appreciate you make a RageZone only version, but if you want us to use this program, remove the login procedure.

@ arnootie, I hope you know it's not the idea of a forum to make several accounts, it's even an offence by forum regulations.

Good night,
Worf.

Bug reporting shouldn't be done through a PM on RaGEZONE. If you really wish to have such a feature, you should create a PHP script somewhere that gets certain variables that it is passed and log them to a text file.

It looks like a good tool, but requiring people to enter there RaGEZONE data for an editor is not a bright idea to promote your application.
