I injured my hip or something in my hip area last Thursday when running.
I was going slow at first then I started to accelerate. After barely taking a few steps at my new speed
I felt something going up my hip then pop. I couldn't even stand. To top it all off my teacher thought I was being lazy and didn't want to finish running. I had to walk all the way to the nurses office with an unbearable pain in my hip. Once I got there I called home to be picked up. But anyways my uncle is a doctor, and I live with my aunt. My uncle lives in California (Were in Texas) he heard about my injury over the phone and decided it was just a tissue problem, he told my aunt it will heal in a few days of rest.
I'm constantly disagreeing with her that it is not a tear in my tissue. Something is really out of place in my hip and that I need to see a doctor. She replies with the same answer that it will heal in a few days even though its been over a week now. When I push, as in faking taking a crap. I can feel something like a bone in my hip that needs to be popped back in place. I studied myself in the mirror and saw that the OK side looked regular. The left side which is the side that I hurt, dips in on the hip like there should be something there to keep it straight. Walking and climbing up the stairs is painful so I finally decided to google some answers. I searched hips than I searched the thing on my hip which seems to be the place where the pain is coming from.
I'm not 100% sure if this is it but it seems pretty accurate to my problem.

If anyone knows what this really is then its much appreciated so I can finnaly know what really happened to me.
I also forgot to add that I recieved a pain in my hip before running on Thursday, I ran a mile two days before that and I sat down for about 30 seconds before realizing I should walk around. Then a few hours after that I received the pain my side and it was like a miniature pain of the one listed above. Except I was able to deal with it and walk better but not run. So when I ran whatever it was popped.
Also I do make sure I stretch properly.
And also a small bruising pain on my iliac crest.
