Don't get me wrong, i'm an atheist. But you need to start studying "all" religion to find out why some AREN'T retarded. It's just the mainstream bullshit religions like Christianity that are ridiculous. Buddhism for example, a good philosophical religion mainly about life enhancement, meditation, that sort of thing. I would not deem that "Retarded".

I was born a Catholic, went to Catholic school for like, 6 years? I'm now in public school though. But I do agree, Catholicism, next to Christianity is one of the most bullshit religions, next to Islam. Thus, why I'm an Atheist. When I was younger religion was forced on me, but now I can see the difference between following a book, and scientific facts, I can make my own decisions about religion and my family can't do a damn thing about it. ^^

True. It always comes down to one single individual. I sometimes look at all this and wonder - wow. Men are manipulated so easily. It's the fear in them that gets them to believe everything that is said by a so called divine human (in this case religion heads as you pointed out).

Disagreed. I live in India and a great number of muslims live here. India and Pakistan are in continuous conflict with each other. That should basically mean Hindu's should hate Muslims but trust me - thats not the case.

Before they are Muslims - they are Indians and all that matters.

And to be honest - Muslims are nice. I have real good friends who are muslims and they are ready to stand by my side in times of need. It's the person that matters not the religion they abide by and etc.

Religion cant define the nature of a person.

a good friend of mine is from saudi arabia and he's living proof not everyone from the middle east hates us (americans).
it's sad to say christianity has corrupted many people. It corrupted my sis's friends and her ex, but it's all about how you perceive it; only religion can break up a 4-5 year relashonship. he was a cool guy too :\
