Server w/o database

Good Day, can we setup this server too without database? I mean only server then client. I know it is possible I tested it but on other PT clients. Though don't know how to do it in japanese pt server files.

Eh, okay... You know there exist english serverfiles too?...instead of the korean ones.
Take a look in the release section. And no, you cannot run a PT server without the databases.
So SQL Server is needed.

hi swezid, oh before I am able to play pt without db just like a test server though the only basis would be your username. Just keyin the username then any password would do y deleting some .dll file like the usrlogin.dll but i think it is not existing in the JPT. been doing pt back over 3 years ago i just missed the game and want to setup my own for fun.

Dude for your own server you need a db I guess you played a normal server which you just have to download a client from XD

no hes talkiing about the OLD server that was being made way before the jPT server was leaked.

This server was all file based and not DB based...i personally liked it more lol but this is more advanced and updated...and the dev for that one ended a long time ago.

but if anyone can find those files, i would give my body for them xD jk.

Telatoro's server files. They were made in VB6.0 and he stopped development before they were functional enough to host a server under normal means.

There are no working server files that do not have a DB, all of your user accounts, Clans, SoD scores and in some cases weapon data is stored in the DB, it is not possible to have a server without one unless you wanna finish off Telatoro's work.
