Setting up a server.

Hey,

I really wanna set up a KalOnline server, but my problem is that I've got Windows Web Edition, so I cant run MYSSQL 2000, is there any alternative programs which I can use, to setup my server?

no there is not. you need mssql 2005 or 2000. there are ways of geting it to run on it the mssql i mean but it reqs alot of moddin to the os to make it thinks its std edition and no im not going to tell u how to do it as ill get banned ^.^

Not possible then, end of discussion.
Stop trying to host a server on a webhost, and buy a real hosting to handle it. That simple.

And TrueDarkZone might talk about MySQL , even he fails to write the correct letters. And it's true, it's possible to mod the DB server to run with MySQL, but it's not worth the amount of work required.

no im talking about geting Mssql 2000 to run on windows server 2003 web edit i know what im saying and im not saying about modding the databace server to use MYsql but moding the OS to think its windows server 2003 std edit mate >.<. and yes it is pos to do it no i will not say how becuse you need to crack the os of 2003 and this aint a wearz forum
