Hi,

I am using a Linux VM to try to run this but I get the following error:

Warning: fopen(include/constant.php): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /usr/local/apache2/htdocs/TravianX/install/process.php on line 36

Can't open file: install\include\constant.php

which makes sence since their aint a constant.php. So where do I find it?

Unknown database 'root' error

you typed at database "root",
but "root" is your account
try it again with "root" as username
and
create a new database with any name
this name you type at the field with 'database'
leave the password empty

check your configuration of wamp or whether any other service is running

fact: you have no acess to the page

also check your .htaccess file

the file 'constant.php' is create while installing
if your installation fails, you dont have this file
I'm not pretty sure, but I think you cant set up this server in a VM,because you have no access to the localhost
thats why you can do whatever you want in your VM and your real computer doesn't take any damage.
try it without the VM
