CT1 tools released.. when L2 FileEdit will be updated?

Firstly of all:
Read what programs use FileEdit
Answer: L2encdec.exe and L2-asm-disasm

Secondly:
When a new version of those programs is released, Read its changelog
Answer: L2endec.exe 2.81 = L2encdec.exe 2.91
The change was in Patcher.exe and loaderCT1 added, so it doesn't need an act.

Thirdly:
Read well the info of programs that are released in Dstuff Webpage about the programs that are used by FileEdit
Answer: L2's dat files decoder & encoder - l2disasm & l2asm C3 - Interlude supported, NOT CT1

So with all this, i only want to say that 6.5 is the last version for FileEdit until now, Waiting for new versions of the tools that it use.

Thanks Droppo for your Understanding.

Thread cleaned up... Stop all request/annoying stuff and let's start clean chat when new version gets released with CT1 support.

Droppo.-

My anti-virus goes nuts over this file. I really hope it's just some sort of weird software conflict and not actually a virus. At any rate, after disabling my anti-virus I can't get it to run, I get the following error message. "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have appropriate permissions to access the item."

I uninstalled my anti-virus and turned the firewall off and re-downloaded this thing, but I still have the same problem.

Is this made in visual basic or something? Perhaps I need a run-time file? I can run the L2 FileEdit c4-c5 version just fine, but I need to work on an Interlude client.

I've tried downloading from different mirrors too, same result.

L2's dat files decoder & encoder - l2disasm & l2asm.

Released!

could Someone Share a FULL patched CT1 system Folder? thnx

just a suggestion to make editing easier, how much work would it take to add column support to the program? so it lines everything up into the appropriate column (kinda like excel or gnumeric), this could help out a lot of new people, and make it easier on some of us to import from interlude to kamael, im up for any help that i can possibly to to make things better in any way i can.

L2 FileEdit Version 7.1 (17/01/2008)

L2 FileEdit (Interlude/Kamael):

L2 FileEdit (C4/C5):

Updates: Updated with L2 Dis/asm 1.071
Thank you, It saved my time. One more thank you.

HEY
what about the trojans and backdoors caught by virustotal.com?

say sumthin bout that plz

--edit--
Thanks ;)

I can say , firstly the are PONTENTIALLY, not real...
And secondly, there are no viruses detected by the REAL AntiViruses , like Nod/Kaspersky, only AVG and other crap AVs which are FULL of false positives...
And guess what...
Why don't you scan GG or L2.exe, the original one's...
GG is a rootkit and L2.exe is a themida application, so they're both not just suspicious, but the real thing...

PS:Of course you can always not download it and start editting files by hand, CrazyRabbit makes them, i share them, and you got the choise to use them or not...

  1. Antivirus Version Last Update Result
  2. AhnLab-V3 2008.1.24.10 2008.01.23 Dropper/Xema.75776.B
  3. AntiVir 7.6.0.48 2008.01.23 TR/Dldr.Agent.2191872
  4. Authentium 4.93.8 2008.01.22 W32/Backdoor.ATVB
  5. AVG 7.5.0.516 2008.01.23 Potentially harmful program HackTool.DHN
  6. BitDefender 7.2 2008.01.24 Trojan.Downloader.Agent.YDV
  7. ClamAV 0.91.2 2008.01.23 Trojan.Dropper-1060
  8. F-Prot 4.4.2.54 2008.01.24 W32/Backdoor.ATVB
  9. Ikarus T3.1.1.20 2008.01.24 Trojan-Dropper.Win32.Agent.bjw
  10. Panda 9.0.0.4 2008.01.23 Suspicious file
  11. Webwasher-Gateway 6.6.2 2008.01.23 Trojan.Dldr.Agent.2191872
All these results pretty much say, yes its a very suspicious file. But I trust it, I haven't seen any harm done so far, and I've been using it for a long time. Only reason it keeps saying dropper/download is because it has 2 files binded into this one exe. And when its launched it extracts those 2 exe's into a temp folder, in your temp files. By doing that, it makes the program look very suspicious file. As for the backdoors, I can't say why its saying that. But all you really want to look at for the best results NOD32, Panda, Kasperkey and McAfee. Best protection around if you ask me. And there not picking up nothing? Know why, cause I don't believe its a infected file. But hey, its your choice to use this guy great software.

Thanks dragonlancer

REAL antivirus ==> Lool

There is not the good section to speack to this subject but it's a very good joke...

For me, with the little functions of fileedit (no web acces, no server connection, etc), if fileEdit haven't not Trojans, the Antivirus can't tell us that their is probably infected...

This trojan isn't dangerous, it's just for know who utilise FileEdit, but I think that is very stupid...

You tell us their isn't any trojan or virus? Release the sources, it's simple...

Stun

You want the source huh...
First of all, the prog is not mine...it's CrazyRabbit's...
Second, Try to find it your self, a programmer never gives his source codes...
Third, it's YOUR choise to use it or not, CrazyRabbit takes nothing from it, it's just public, you don't pay for it, so if you don't want it, i think i couldn't care less...

EDIT: Updated with L2 Dis/asm 1.08 & L2 EncDec 2.91...
