[Show] Beast - Flyff Map Editor (Videos)

Many of you may have seen the video DeadlyData posted of the Beast Flyff map editor. At that stage we only knew how to load textures.

But I've been working hard on figuring out how it loads things and have progressed quite a bit :P

Here's a quick video of my progress.



High Quality:

I will post another video in the future when I have more to show.


(And no sorry, I can't give the editor to anyone.)



Update: I customized a world and teleported to it in game, and it works! :)

The map I opened is part of Flyff. It's where your teleported for some level 30 ish quest or something. It's the Giant KRR dungeon.

Just added a new video. I customized a world a bit then teleported to it in game. Works beautifully :P

And why can't this be dev'ed?
This is a map development thread. There might be maps released later when they're finished and if you think he's the only one who's using it, then you're wrong. I might release a map later, but i'll never release the editor itself.

Offtopic: Thanks for your help kakkoii, now we just need to finish the npc's :)

I originally posted this just in the Flyff section. But then Pieman moved it here and gave me a warning...


But in a way it is development. Because were developing the files to make it work right.

Hehe I got an idea.
Edit the world so that there are no obstacles in front of Clockworks Cage.
o.o hax.

Wouldn't work cause the Patcher would detect the difference and re-download the files, and if you done it after the patcher was finished, you'd still have the invisible walls to remove...

and CW only spawns once someone does the quest (I think, not sure about eFlyff)

Ive already proven on gzp that you can replace it for a world withouth walls..

Yeah it only spawns on eflyff when you do the quest(Well unless there's a world trigger on the ground on the way in *Doubt it*) but I've teleported there and natta.

This is technically development since new things are being made from it consider it map development, or file development towards a small team of people working with a map editor.

I'm sure ragezone would rather have it this way then an underground flyff mapping forum being spread via PM.
