Simple BW Information

I did read the thread and my post was sarcastic and relating to your other replies in the forum. I know google cant show you the information you want.

But your chances getting the answer you want here is less that like 2%...

..most of the users around here are running on crappy home server with either hamachi (yuk!) or something else.

It doesn't matter if a server is hosted on a home-server or not, you'll still use the same amount of bandwidth. So...
Here's an idea: Set up a temp server and measure the bandwidth usage per-client yourself.

P.S. I can't tell you how much BW I, personally, use, as my dedi has unlimited bandwidth, so there's no reason for me to keep an eye on how much is used.

I didn't ask for the usage per-client, did I ?

BTW, there's nothing called Unlimited in the world of Hosting, that's impossible, you can't waste 100's of TB's, for the price of 100-200 usd.

1. Get your damn facts straight before you open that mouth of yours.
2. Are you retarded? If you know how much BW EACH USER USES, then you will know how much bandwidth you'll need. Make sense?

I know my facts better than yours, I've been hosting servers before you were born!

Yes, I could do it a per-client basis, but there are other factors than just that, DB transfer, website transfer, downloads etc.

Its possible to get unlimited BW on dedicated server, i have one with 100mbit for 80usd a month

Utter bullshit! let's say you pay 10 $ / Mbit, then you pay 1000$ for 100Mbit. They economy today doesn't allow anything to be unlimited within the server business. Bandwidth costs money, you can't expect a host to waste money on YOU just so YOU can have it cheap!
Here, for the retards amoung you who like to think the habbotard way:

Bandwidth is very expensive. All hosts are limited by their own allocations. Think back to the bridge. What happens is that each visitor to your site will be given a smaller lane to transfer the data, creating many tiny lanes therefore "unlimited". The more visitors you have, the smaller each lane will be, which makes each visitor wait for the page to load.

Read that ? It perfectly says that you can't push 10000's of Tera Bytes on a 100Mbit line, it's impossible, math's is against it!!

If you had a dedicated 100Mbit line, you'd be paying way above 1000-2000 $ / Month! That's how business is today! That's how Bandwidth is! That's not Unlimited! It's called UNMETERED BANDWIDTH!

God, seriously, you habbons pisses me off with you "I Know all, you don't" attitude.

Alright, take a look here then

I've used this host for 1year now, its unlimited. Next time then check out more sites instead of few ones

Edit: Btw broadband are starting to get cheap now because of fibre optic. At home i got 50mbit/50mbit for only 20$ a month, and normal ADSL is more expensive

So with unmetered BW then you got free use of bandwith, so its kind of unlimited traffic =\

My point is that it doesnt cost 1000$+ for 100mbit unmetered BW
